A day spent making a difference: helping the Lapinneva community

At our company, every employee is entitled to spend one working day per year volunteering. The idea is to support either nature or local communities.

Employees at our growing media factory in Parkano, Finland, decided together to lend a helping hand in the renovation of the old Lapinneva railway station. The station’s new owners are transforming it into a community meeting place for the residents of Lapinneva village.

Our employees rolled up their sleeves and took part in gardening, cleaning, and renovation work around the building. They enjoyed a rewarding day supporting the local community and spreading goodwill along the way!
