Why we chose reed canary grass to complement our growing media mixes
Kekkilä-BVB is actively working on developing new circular raw materials to growing media with excellent growth performance. Reed canary grass has emerged as one of the breakthroughs in the company’s development and research work.
This renewable raw material is cultivated in former peat production areas in Finland. The reed canary grass is harvested very early in the spring, when the snow has just melted. Watch the short video where our Development Manager Juha Valli explains why we have chosen reed canary grass to complement our growing media mixes.
