We have over a hundred years of heritage and expertise from growing in the Netherlands, Finland and Sweden. From local, family-owned businesses, we have grown to become a global leader in horticulture.​ Kekkilä joined forces with the Swedish company Hasselfors Garden in the early 2000s. Later, in 2019, Kekkilä Oy and the Dutch company BVB Substrates B.V. merged their businesses, forming Kekkilä-BVB Oy, Europe’s leading supplier of growing media and gardening products. The company’s headquarters are located in Vantaa, Finland.
