Senior Logistics Manager SCM Sourcing & Logistics

Neova Group’s Supply Chain Management is responsible for the strategic development and operational management of end to end supply chain (incl. sourcing & procurement, logistics, peat production), development and management of operational excellence and sustainability (including quality and safety) within the Neova group in Finland, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and Estonia. SCM aims at creating the best value through best-in-class supply chain management capability and performance. Customer centricity throughout the SCM organization and effective collaboration with internal and external customers, with Divisions and other functions, and with partners in logistics, procurement, and production are key success factors.

We are now looking for a Senior Logistics Manager for Netherlands & Germany in Neova Group’s Supply Chain Management to develop and manage the logistics of Kekkilä-BVB companies in Central Europe. The role reports to Neova Group’s Sourcing & Logistics Director and is a member of the SCM Logistics Leadership Team. Senior Logistics Manager works in deep collaboration with Neova Group’s business divisions, especially with the Grow&Care division in Central Europe and also with other teams in SCM function. Your preferred location will be in Grubbenvorst or De Lier, Netherlands. The role requires ~20-30% of travel.

YOUR NEW JOB

Having the role of Senior Logistics Manager Netherlands & Germany you will have an exciting position working with the company’s logistics work and processes, strategically and tactically. You will be involved in Neova Group’s and Kekkilä-BVB´s logistic strategy and long-term goals.

You will be responsible for the strategic and tactical development of the supply chain. This includes sourcing and developing logistics services in Netherlands and Germany both for retail and professional markets. You will also act as line manager for Kekkilä-BVB´s internal transport company organization. You strive to create great value through capacity and performance in the supply chain. You are also working actively to ensure close and effective cooperation with other departments and teams in Netherlands and Germany.

With your help, you have competent colleagues within SCM, operations, and sales.

WHO ARE YOU?

We see that you have an academic education, preferably in logistics, industrial economics, or technology or that you have gained experience in some other way that can be considered equivalent. We are looking for someone who has great experience in Central European logistics in managerial positions. You also have a strategic and tactical approach.

It is a merit if you have experience as a project leader, as well as experience in change management in an industrial environment, such as LEAN or 5S.

Your prestige less and down-to-earth approach is characterized by clarity and trust. You have a great experience in logistics, delivery flows, and processes. You are inspirational and communicative. You have the ability to make people around you feel good and achieve good results together.
