How are tomorrow’s growing media taking shape?

We want to support greenhouse growers by ensuring they continue to have access to high‑performing growing media in the future – so they can grow flowers that bring joy and food that nourishes.

That’s why we continuously explore new growing media materials and develop new mixes, testing them together with growers like Ansari from Finland (part of Schetelig Oy), as well as VDA Plant and SV.CO in the Netherlands.

The growing media of the future are developed in our research laboratory as smart mixes – combining peat with wood fibre, reed canary grass, sphagnum moss and other ingredients to create the ideal foundation for each plant to thrive.
