Compost for food forest in Oudega (NL)

In line with our vision of “growing together for a better future” we support local initiatives such as this start of a food forest in Oudega, The Netherlands.

They presented their solid plan for a food forest, located near the school, and central in the village. Our local team from the Drachten production location was asked to support with quality compost, and so they did! Time for the first shrubs and trees to be planted.

A great way of educating residents of all ages about growing edible plants and the need for healthy soil to do so.
