How to achieve a climate change proof value chain?
What impact does climate change have on your value chain and how to deal with it?
Day 3 of the GROW21 festival focuses on future growing and digs into the changes driven by climate change on food production, distribution and consumption.
Karine Basso works as expert of Agricultural Value Chains at South Pole. For almost 15 years she has worked with organizations to support them in strengthening sustainability practices through a better understanding of global trends, stakeholders’ expectations and effectiveness of different sustainability strategies.
South Pole works with businesses and governments across the globe. They help realise deep decarbonisation pathways across industries, based on a thorough understanding of climate risks and opportunities in specific sectors, as well as the highest emission reduction standards. With climate change visibly impacting the global economy South Poles’ purpose has never become more urgent: “Act today for a better tomorrow”.
During her keynote on Day 3 of the GROW21 event, Karine will show us how to deal with the impact of climate change on the food value chain. She will elaborate on risks and opportunities and give examples on how climate action can create business value throughout the supply chain
